Our Attitude towards our own body

It is a bitter truth that the entire world can be yours, only if you are in the world. You can be in the world if your body is alive. But we never bother about it, because it comes to us free of cost. Actually it is gifted to us by our parents. Therefore, in case one desires to know or understand the value of the body, one needs to ask the mother, who brought you in the world. But, we do not give any importance to it, in a similar manner as we do with a gift item, which comes to us free of cost.

Everyone will agree with me that today we know everything about others but we no least about our own body. I would not be wrong in saying that most of us just use our body in a similar manner as we do with any other house hold article. In the normal course we attend to household articles when its defective. At that juncture we always feel that the trouble could have been avoided had we undertaken its regular maintenance (AMC) but as the article is repaired, we tend to ignore the regular maintenance concept. We feel that it would just entail an extra expenditure. we deal with our body exactly in the same manner. We go to the doctor for repairs, when sick every time one falls sick the suffering is much more than it appears on the face of it. At the juncture we always that our regular health maintenance schedule could have avoided the misery and suffering. Most of us maybe willing to follow a comprehensive healthy living concept but we are completely confused.

Today, there are numerous concepts being propagandised for perfect health. Most of them are time consuming and do not provide complete solution. In today’s environment, perfect health can only be achieved by a right mix of balanced diet, exercise and high quality organic food supplements. Food supplements are mandatory because it is not possible to provide a balanced diet and escape from all the ill effects of pollution. Sooner or later, we will have to change our mind set regarding the usage of high quality organic food supplements, in case we desire to lead a healthy life. to some it may appear to be an additional expenditure, but in the long run it will prove to be the most intelligent investment. No money or valuables can ever be equated to the human body.

In this regard I would like to narrate a small story. One day a pupil went to his teacher (Guru) and said that he wanted to commit suicide because he was completely bankrupt. The teacher said that , he would pay him rupees ten lakhs ($2500 USD ) each if he could sell both his arms. But the pupil refused to sell. The teacher again said that he would pay him rupees one crore ($250,000 USD ) each if he could sell both his eyes but again the pupil refused. The teacher than said, you have body which is worth billions, how can you call yourself bankrupt.

Air Pollution

Every individual inhales about 38,000gallons of air everyday. We know that the air is highly polluted allover the world. This is the reason that in the developed countries ‘Oxygen Bars’ are being opened for providing clean air.

The air pollution increases the oxidation at cellular level, besides causing congestion in the respiratory system and lungs. We aware that the air pollution was very high in Delhi ( capital of India ) a few years back. As a result the fuel of the entire public transport system was changed to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). The situation of the air pollution was so grave, that even the Honorable Supreme Court of India (the Highest Judicial Body in the country) had to step in, in order to speed up the CNG implementation program. As a result the air pollution has considerably reduced, but this has led to increase in the temperature. Continue reading
